I especially liked her post about Subliminal Characters! For instance, what can you learn about yourself from your characters and their conflicts?

Makes ya think, don’t it?

Up and Coming Blogger

“Carl PD” from QueryTracker forum announced his blog a few weeks ago, and I wanted to feature it here this week in up and coming blogger.

Why?

Because the blog is focused around what BOYS are reading!!! Seems the market is thirsty for it. Well, Boylit.com does a fine job of outlining books, capturing trailers, and linking to other sites with critiques, reviews, and all things boylit related.

Check it out!

Up and Coming Blogger

Today’s blogger is pretty well established, I’d say, but I still think it’s important to feature her blog becuase it’s something I’ve followed now for several months, and, man, has it been worth it.

Cynthia Occelli, author, blogger, and businesswoman offers sage advice and tips on how to take care of yourself in a hostile world. AND, she frames things in a way to get you thinking–super cool! I’m all about self-reflection and striving for acceptance of the self while at the same time working toward goals for self-improvement.

Up and Coming Blogger

Today’s up and coming blogger is: Zoe C. Courtman!

Her blog: No Letter On My Keyboard

Link: http://zoecourtman.blogspot.com/

Zoe is a freelance copywriter, blogger, and aspiring horror novelist. She has a website in addition to her blog: www.zoecourtman.com.

Okay, so my favorite blog post (so far) has to be “Shambling Toward Word Choice.” It highlights the need for precision in the words you choose–so true! Her other fantastic posts include: developing a motto for youself to keep motivated and what happens when you feel the procrastination bug futzing around in the back of your skull, as well as transitioning from “Lurker to Poster.” (That last one, by the way, is on her writing site and it’s AWESOME!)

The visual: ‘Kay. Y’all know about my kitty Gracie–she’s my agent *wink*. So, Zoe also has a Ragdoll! *grin* His name is Wampa.

I’ll do anything to post pictures of cutie patooties. Sorry. (No I’m not!) 😉

For those of you who prefer horror visuals to match Zoe’s genre:

Up and Coming Blogger

This week’s up and coming blogger is: Amparo Ortiz!

Her blog’s title: No Rest for the Lazy (Already I like this gal!)

She is a blogger, YA writer, English Lit student, and Jensen Ackles enthusiast (Amen, sista! He’s a cutie!). So far, she’s offered great tips on query letter writing, how important a playlist can be for creativity (*nods head emphatically*), and how her novel’s main character was “born.”

Here’s the link to her blog: http://amparo-ortiz.blogspot.com/

Enjoy!

For those who enjoy visuals (I include myself):
