Immortal Aliens Book One: Dawn of the Vie, a YA Scifi Dystopian

A ginormous THANKS to all who participated in Dawn of the Vie’s launch earlier this month! Over 120 bloggers helped spread the word with the cover reveal and blog blitz. Beyond awesome. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The Goodreads giveaway for a copy of Dawn of the Vie is still going on. You have until 11:59pm on October 31, 2016 to enter! Click HERE to enter. Good luck!

Here’s what early reviewers are saying:

“An interesting, fast paced and new idea!” Amazon reviewer

“What a wild ride!” Goodreads reviewer

The paperback is now available in addition to the Ebook. I’ve included links to Amazon and B&N below…

Barnes and Noble

Remember, reviews are crucial for authors. If you’ve read Dawn of the Vie, PLEASE consider leaving an honest review on the links above. It only has to be a couple of sentences, but it makes a HUGE difference. Thanks!

If you’re in the upstate New York area, I’ll be attending the Glens Falls Chronicle Book Fair on Sunday, November 6. I’ll have copies of The Zodiac Collector (now SOLD OUT at B&N in Albany, NY), as well as Under My Skin AND Dawn of the Vie will be making its debut! Hope to see you there! 🙂

Book Two of the Immortal Aliens duology, Blood Rush, is almost ready. It’s due for release Spring 2017. I can’t wait to share the conclusion of Alex, Justin, and Cara’s story with you. It’s EPIC, I promise. 😉

As an aside, my dragon story, LEARNING TO FLY, will be hitting the virtual shelves as part of a multi-book anthology. I’ll keep you updated on social media regarding purchase links, publication info, and cover pics.

Here’s a short blurb about the story:

In Ming Dynasty China, fifteen-year-old Jung discovers the nightmares cursing him are really the dreams of the slumbering dragon within. Waking the beast may free him, but taking flight means he’ll have to give up all he’s ever known and loved.

Flake-out Friday–BLOGIVERSARY!!!!

Wow. I’ve been blogging for ONE YEAR! My, my, how time flies!!!

(Thank you, internet search for “blogiversary” for such great pics!)

To celebrate, I’m having a super-fun, hopefully interactive, giveaway. You see, I found this super cute ornament at the Yankee Candle Flagship Store in Deerfield, MA a couple weeks ago and automatically thought of my writer peeps, blog buddies, and writerly pals.

The ornament is approx 4 inches long, 3 inches tall, and 2 inches wide. It’s hard to see, but there’s glitter on the wings and horns.

Here’s how to enter the contest if you’d like to have this charming little guy (or gal) grace your home:

  • 3 points for: Use your creativity and NAME and develop a SHORT bio (like a sentence or two is fine!) for the dragon–he or she needs a name and story, right?
  • 3 points for: blogging about the contest.
  • 1 point for Tweeting the contest.
  • 1 point for Facebooking the contest.
  • 1 point for following my blog (either via subscription or NetworkBlogs).

Feel free to tally the number yourself.

The contest will run for ONE WEEK–It ENDS November 5, 2010 at MIDNIGHT EST! Then, a winner will be selected by

Thanks for celebrating with me!

Appreciate A Dragon Day

Even dragon’s need to feel appreciated. So, on this day of January the 16th, in the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Ten, all those in support of dragons shall announce their allegiance!

Here’s Murphy’s story:

Born in 1347, Murphy is the only son of his parents, Millicent and Milford Monarch. His gift is bringing happy dreams whomever is fortunate enough to own him. Over the centuries, he has perched above the beds of several people, from peasants to kings. In 1723, he came to the New World on a ship. Since then, he has roamed the east coast, finally settling in a town known for its Dutch heritage. Why? It reminds him of home.
