Shifting Pride Blog Tour Quick Recap

Hey gang! Just wanted to post a recap of the entire blog tour thus far…

(The final four posts begin this Wednesday. Gosh, can’t believe it’s almost over!)

Shifting Pride is featured on Addicted to ebooks.com! You’ll also see it on the sidebar and on their Facebook page. Give ’em a like!

I’ve also added Shifting Pride and New Pride (the prequel novelette) to Bookmatchers.com. It’s a great website where you enter search criteria for a type of book you’d like to read and it’ll give you a list of suggestions–how cool is that?!

AND I’ve added Shifting Pride and New Pride to Ask David–I hear it’s good exposure, so I’m giving it a go. (Not sure if that one’s live yet, tho.)

Even death can’t stop true love…

After over four hundred years as a Guardian, Durk Langdon rebuked it all. Walked away from everything when his mate, Jessica, was brutally murdered. Yet he has no recollection of anything since that gruesome day.

Nothing alleviates his longing for Jessica or his disdain for the Guardians until a former brother-in-arms joins him and his cause. Visions of his lost love start appearing in the most unlikely places, until Durk learns she survived.

But when he sets out to find her, demonic obstacles he never could have imagined tear them apart.

If only he had trusted her…

When 17 year old Cooper dies in an attempt to burn down his school, he finds himself in the afterlife. Lucy, the Devil’s sister who has crossed party lines, decides to give Cooper another shot at heaven. The deal? Cooper returns to Earth and has to find a girl named Grace. The rest is up to him.
While Cooper figures out his mission, he’s thrown into the life he’s always wanted. Great parents, a spot on the Varsity football team and a real future are all within reach. But what he really wants is Grace, a feisty girl with an abusive boyfriend that can pound Cooper into pulp if he doesn’t watch out.
While Lucy plays demonic-puppeteer, clues to an unknown past between Cooper and Grace start to unravel. Cooper discovers that what’s keeping he and Grace apart is far more sinister than anything this bad boy could have ever imagined.

Did you guys know pub sista Theresa McClinton is hosting an “End of the World” giveaway blast for her novel, The Stone Guardian? It starts TODAY and runs through 12/20–yep, you guessed it, ONE day before the world ends…erm, if the Mayans were right, LOL!

I particularly love this book bash because Theresa’s book includes FAB folklore about Mayans–apropros, right???

Anyway, I’ll stop gabbing and get to it.

Here’s the cover:

TheStoneGuardian_ByTheresaMcClinton_200x300

Pretty girl, hot guy–what more could you ask for???

Click here to see a list of all the bloggers who are participating!

Theresa’s bio:

Theresa_McClinton_author_photo

A long time enthusiast of things that go bump in the night, Theresa started her writing career as a journalism intern‚ÄĒpossibly the least creative writing field out there. After her first semester at a local newspaper, she washed her hands of press releases and features articles to delve into the whimsical world of young adult paranormal romance.

Since then, Theresa has gotten married, had three terrific kids, moved to central Ohio, and was repeatedly guilt tripped into adopting a menagerie of animals that are now members of the family. But don‚Äôt be fooled by her domesticated appearance. Her greatest love is travel. Having stepped foot on the soil of over a dozen countries, traveled to sixteen U.S. states‚ÄĒincluding an extended seven-year stay in Kodiak, Alaska‚ÄĒshe is anything but settled down. But wherever life brings her, she will continue to weave tales of adventure and love with the hope her stories will bring joy and inspiration to her readers.

CONGRATS, THERESA!!!!

M. Pax, author of The Backworlds, and Tyrean Martinson have teamed up to bring us The Hobbit Blogfest!

I also couldn’t resist participating in this blogfest. I’m a HUGE LoTR fan and CAN’T WAIT to see The Hobbit!

What is your favorite hobbit characteristic/or the one that you think closely resembles you . . .?

FOOD!!!!! LOL!

Also, I may be a direct descendent of a hobbit. Seriously, my great aunt Edith looks like one, God bless her! She‚Äôs shorter than most (less than 5 feet), has a mop brown, curly hair, and giggles at every opportunity‚ÄĒDEFINITELY a hobbit!

If you could choose between a scrumptious second breakfast and a perilous unexpected journey ‚Äď which would you prefer?

Second breakfast, please! I’m not an adventurous hobbit…though I do like to write about adventures!

Have you ever left behind something on a journey (expected or unexpected) and wished you could have it over and over again? (a pocket handkerchief?)

I’ve never left anything behind, but I’ve certainly returned with a valuable possession to two!

What is your Favorite part or quote from the book that you hope will be in the movie?

I absolutely adore the scene where Bilbo makes a deal with Gollum. I wish I could be so good at riddles!

Do you enjoy Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit? What do you think of The Hobbit being made into a TRILOGY???
