My dad cleaned out the storage shed in the back yard and found a lot of high school stuff I’d put away years ago. He brought the boxes to my house and I’ve been sorting through them bit by bit.
Finding my cheerleading jacket really brought back some memories. I was never really good at the jumps and stuff, but I had fun cheering, going to the games, and watching my team get creamed watching the athletes compete.

I was never one of those people to obsess about high school. I wasn’t a popular kid or jock (big shock there) so it didn’t really matter to me.
I haven’t looked at what high school stuff I might have lying around. I do sleep in my HS newspaper shirt though. It was fun when I went to Vegas with my BFFs from high school because they saw the shirt and were like, “OMG! Rampage!” (that was the name of our newspaper; we were on staff together).
Happy to escape to college?
Actually, I remember lots of concerts. Think I averaged about three a month back then.
And band! How could I forget that? And don’t think for a moment band members don’t know how to party and have a good time…
I don’t know about school stuff but it’s fun looking at dresses I used to wear in my dancing days lol.
I never found anything big like that, but a little while ago I found an old study sheet from high school chemistry. I couldn’t believe I used to think it was hard. Another time, I found an old report card from middle school. It was…not favorable.

Books! I was hopelessly unathletic, but I collected books whenever I could. Usually out-of-date, retired high school books. LOL!

Oh, God, I think I’d be afraid to look! All my stuff is at my parents’ house across the ocean, tucked away somewhere well out of sight!
I found my high-school blazer the other day. Almost made me nostalgic. 😀
In HS art class, I made a pitcher and set of mugs in the shape of paper bags. Can’t really use them, but they’re fun to look at.
