Are you familiar with the story of Henny Penny? You know, where the chicken Henny Penny believes the sky is falling?
Yeah, that was me last week when a huge limb from an old oak tree in my front yard decided to crack and fall. (I think lightning hit it.)
It was very loud.
And very close to the cars.
Thank GOD no one and no thing was hurt.
Have you guys experienced the sky falling?

Wow! Glad everyone is all right – that must have been pretty scary. So far my sky has stayed firmly above my head, but who’s to say that won’t change today?

Oh my, I’m glad everyone was okay. That would freak me out too.
Makes me glad I live in an apartment across from the tennis court so there are no huge trees nearby.
BTW, have you read about all that stuff turning up from Japan on the west coast? A whole dock floated all the way to Oregon. That’s a way to ruin your day at the beach.
