Flake-out Friday–Storybook Time!

The interwebz sometimes teems with posts, Tweets, and chats concerning the appropriateness of certain content for young adult and middle grade books.

But our concern should not lie only there!

We must also be cautious about what our wee tots are exposed to. I present to you the proof that nothing–not even children’s books–is sacred.

    But in all seriousness, I am constantly watching for sexual content – subtle as it may be – in my young one’s viewing. Even Disney isn’t above putting in the innuendos to keep parent’s interest.

    “With a melon?” I really wanted to see that picture, lol.
